The Mango Bar Pork Joint managers only identified as Kabaale and his son Kasozi are counting serious losses after fire burnt their Pork Joint to ashes in the wee hours of Thursday Morning.
The pork joint which is located in Lyamutunde village, Mpala zone in Katabi Town Council was burnt to ashes at around 2am on Thursday morning. Unspecified kilograms (Kgs) of pork, a deep freezer, plates and jerry cans of cooking oil were destroyed in the fire. The Entebbe Police Fire brigade team rushed to the scene and contained the fire which almost burnt several nearby houses. It’s not yet clear what caused the fire however Kabaale and his son Kasozi are pointing fingers at their business rivals for setting the fire.
Mango Bar Pork joint is a popular hangout for Entebbe Airport clearing officers who spend most of their evenings and weekends chewing pork there.
